How we research and verify
The Last Verified stamp on every guide is a commitment, not a decoration. Here's what stands behind it.
Sourcing
Visa and tax figures are checked against official government or embassy sources. Insurance and banking comparisons are checked against the provider's own current policy or fee documents. Cost-of-living figures are cross-checked against multiple current listing sources rather than a single snapshot.
Re-verification
Pages older than 90 days since their last check are flagged internally for review. Where a figure can't be confirmed as current, the page says so rather than presenting outdated information as fact.
No fabricated credentials or personas
Every byline on GrandRoam reflects a real contributor with an accurately disclosed background. We don't invent expert personas, credentials, or testimonials to make content appear more authoritative than it is.
Affiliate relationships don't affect comparisons
Where GrandRoam earns a commission on a product or service mentioned in a guide, that relationship is disclosed on the page and in How We Make Money. Comparison verdicts are based on the criteria stated on the page, not on which option pays the highest commission.
